About This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how NOTICE!, operated by MAYOR GROUP, handles information when you visit the website, create an account, publish a notice, view a notice or use other NOTICE! features.
By using NOTICE!, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use NOTICE!, we may collect the following information:
| Information | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Name or display name | To identify your account and associate notices with the person who created them. |
| Email address | To create and authenticate your account and support account-related communication. |
| Password | Used by Firebase Authentication to authenticate your account. NOTICE! does not need to display your password. |
| Notice information | To publish and display the notice you create, including its title, description, type and other details you provide. |
| Images | To display images that you choose to attach to a notice. |
| Contact information in a notice | To allow people to contact you when you choose to include contact information in a published notice. |

Account Information
When you create a NOTICE! account, we store basic account information such as your display name, email address and account creation information.
Your password is handled by Firebase Authentication rather than being stored as ordinary readable text inside the NOTICE! application database.
Your account information is used to provide authentication, account access and publishing functionality.
Information You Put in a Notice
When you publish a notice, the information you enter is processed so NOTICE! can display the notice to visitors.
This can include the notice title, description, location, contact method, contact details, images, notice type, access code and other publishing information.
What Is Public?
NOTICE! is designed around sharing notices. A notice that you publish for public access may be viewed by people who receive its public link, access code or supported QR code.
Public notice information may include:
- The notice title.
- The notice description.
- The notice type.
- Images you choose to publish.
- Location information you choose to provide.
- Contact information you choose to provide.
- The notice's active or expired status.
Your private account credentials are not intended to be displayed as part of a public notice.
Images & Image Hosting
When you upload an image to a notice, NOTICE! may use ImgBB to host the image.
The image URL is then associated with your notice so that the image can be displayed when people view that notice.
You should only upload images that you have the right to publish and that you are comfortable making available as part of the notice.
Firebase & Account Security
NOTICE! uses Firebase services for authentication and application data.
Firebase Authentication helps handle account sign-in and password authentication. Firestore is used to store application information such as user profiles and notices.
NOTICE! uses access controls and database security rules to limit operations according to the type of information being accessed.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We work to protect your information, but you should also protect your password and avoid sharing account credentials.
Payments & NOTICE! PRO
If you purchase NOTICE! PRO or another paid feature, payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment provider such as Flutterwave.
NOTICE! does not need your full payment-card credentials to provide the service. Payment providers process payment information according to their own security and privacy practices.
NOTICE! may receive transaction-related information needed to confirm a payment and activate the feature purchased.
How We Use Information
Information collected through NOTICE! may be used to:
- Create and authenticate your account.
- Publish and display notices.
- Provide notice links, codes and supported QR features.
- Process and verify paid features.
- Maintain and secure the service.
- Detect abuse, fraud or harmful activity.
- Fix technical problems.
- Improve NOTICE! and its features.
- Respond to legitimate support or service requests.
We do not need your information for purposes unrelated to operating, securing, improving or supporting NOTICE! unless we have a lawful basis to do so or you otherwise provide permission.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
NOTICE! may use browser storage, cookies or similar technologies where necessary for authentication, security, preferences, performance or service functionality.
Some third-party services used by NOTICE! may also use their own technologies according to their respective policies.
Data Retention
We retain account and notice information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse or comply with applicable legal obligations.
Notice information may remain in our systems for a period after a notice expires or is removed where necessary for security, technical, legal or operational reasons.
Deleting Your Information
If you want to stop using NOTICE!, you may stop publishing notices and stop using your account.
Where account or data deletion functionality is available, you may use it to request deletion of applicable information.
Some information may need to be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, payment records or other legitimate operational reasons.
Children & Age Requirements
NOTICE! is intended for users who meet the minimum age requirements presented when creating an account.
If you are not permitted to use an online service under the laws that apply to you, you should not create an account or use NOTICE!.
Third-Party Services
NOTICE! relies on certain third-party technology providers to operate parts of the service. These may include:
- Firebase for authentication and application data.
- ImgBB for uploaded notice images.
- Flutterwave for applicable payment processing.
- Netlify for website hosting and related infrastructure.
These providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
This includes authentication controls, database access rules, secure connections and limiting access to information based on the function being performed.
Privacy of Public Notices
NOTICE! cannot make a notice private after you have chosen to publish information publicly unless the relevant feature supports restricted access.
If you do not want certain information to be seen by the public, do not put that information into a public notice.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as NOTICE! develops, new features are introduced, technology providers change, or legal requirements change.
The current version will always be published on this page. The date at the top of the page indicates when it was last updated.
